EzzyLink continues to provide humanitarian aid to socially vulnerable families in the Republic of Moldova

The EzzyLink association continues to provide humanitarian aid to socially vulnerable families in the Republic of Moldova to overcome the economic crisis and to refugees from Ukraine, settled in Moldova.

Since the beginning of the current year, EzzyLink has launched the project “Covering the needs of the most vulnerable category of the local population and refugees from Ukraine settled in Moldova”, financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

This time, the project will support 8000 beneficiaries, refugees from Ukraine and vulnerable citizens from the Republic of Moldova. In May, 100 socially vulnerable families from Palanca village (on the border with Ukraine) and 800 from Străseni district received help to get through this period when food prices experienced unprecedented increases due to the energy crisis and war. 300 refugees from the Palanca crossing point will receive packages with hygiene products, basic food and products for children. The support was offered in collaboration with the District Councils of Strășeni and Stefan Voda, the Palanca town hall (Consiliul Raional Ștefan Vodă; Consiliul Raional Strășeni Oficial; Primăria Palanca) and the Social Assistance departments of the respective districts.

This initiative is aiming at stimulating social cohesion and dialogue between generations in the context of the crisis situation and supports national efforts to protect the elderly and refugees.

Also, this humanitarian aid is an emotional support provided by donors, who are concerned with helping more elderly people, children from the social category, but also for refugees from Ukraine.

Together we build PEACE!
