From training to investment: 20 entrepreneurs receive grants to build a future in Moldova

EzzyLink is implementing continuously the project “Ensuring the needs of the most vulnerable local population and refugees from Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova II”, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic within the framework of the Czech Humanitarian Aid Program and implemented in partnership with ADRA.

During the final stage of the project, in November-December 2025, a total number of 20 small grants were offered to the newly established small businesses to the project beneficiaries that participated in the Business Development training at an early stage of the project implementation.

With the support of this project, over 200 people were trained, representing the most vulnerable segment of the population of our country, as well as refugees from Ukraine. These people benefited from accounting and entrepreneurship courses organized by EzzyLink in partnership with AFAD.

At the end of these courses, the small grants competition was organized. 72 applications were submitted for examination, 20 of which were selected as beneficiaries, offering them small grants of up to 5,000.00 EURO for each grantee. Following these grants, the project beneficiaries created or expanded small-sized enterprises in the municipalities of Chisinau, Balti, Edinet, Donduseni and Otaci. This way, the project beneficiaries can offer a better life for their families in Moldova.
